Minnesota Golf Academy, Eden Prairie

With a dynamic indoor space and a staff of PGA-certified pros, Minnesota Golf Academy offers a venue for year-round improvement in all facets of the golf game. The academy’s most eye-popping feature is an 11,000-square-foot short-game area where guests practice a multitude of chips, pitches, and approach shots from various lies and distances of up to 50 yards. Designed by PGA instructor Eric Chiles, the short-game area also features a large sand trap, and every shot plays into a two-tiered, 1,625-square-foot green. Reflecting the academy’s emphasis on emulating on-course conditions, the facility’s driving range lets guests place their own tees into the turf so they tee the ball up at a comfortable height. The academy also offers lessons for juniors and adults.
