Wonderful variety of handmade crafts including jewellery, candles, children's and adult's clothing and ceramics. Easy to navigate and good location.

You may consider using a juried approach for selecting your vendors because the number of jewelry vendors far exceeded that of other vendors. I like jewelry but I stopped looking at it about half way through the venue - it was just too much. You may also consider better placement of the food vendors - not in the far back corner all together.

Know what you are looking for, as it can be quite overwhelming with all the merchandise on display and so many people attending.

Too many strolllers!!!!!!!! You could not move for all the strollers and bored husbands following women who should/could have left their little ones with someone else for a bit of time Seriously, it should be open for "shoppers" only!! OR don't allow strollers in Provide stroller parking and perhaps if toddlers have to be carried atround they could be babysat instead Sometimes one or two strollers completely fillied the booths and no one could get neat the items for sale It should not take so long to see what was there OR only let a few strollers in at one time

From Our Editors

Run by founder and designer Jenna Herbut, Make It Productions's fairs showcase the work of more than 200 Canadian artisans and designers at events Merge magazine has described as "the craft sale for the next generation." The laid-back emporium—that has received tons of positive press—thrums with the energy of designers such as Laughing Sparrow, Prairie Wilds, and Mad Love Design as they enthusiastically promote their wares. Music serenades ears wandering between booths, and homemade creations from vendors such as Auntie Jean's Fudge sate hunger with snacks that are as sweet and savory as a love poem written in Worcestershire sauce.

As an extension of her mission to improve designers' livelihoods, Jenna channels her background in marketing into a parallel venture, Make It! University, which helps artisans hone their business models.
