Jen Stroer turned her health around at age 43, cutting out processed foods and earning her license in massage therapy. But while she came to wellness later in life than most, she now promotes it with the zeal of the convert. At her practice, Harmony Bodywork & Float, clients can engage in such beneficial practices as Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, and, of course, Float Therapy. During this last treatment, clients enter a float room with heated water filled with 1,450 pounds of Epsom salt at a depth of 10.5 inches. The effect is a weightless sensation that allows them to tune out the outside world, relax, and heal.
