Dance It Off with Kim, Elgin

Kim, the owner / instructor was very helpful in acclimating me to the steps, routines, etc. that are the foundation of Zumba. You can tell that she really wants her students to learn and enjoy the classes.

Fun and upbeat way to burn off some calories!

I was really disappointed. I went to one class and never went back. The instructor did not wear any kind of microphone and did not give good instruction for new people (there was another woman in the class who was new). She clearly had routines that others knew the steps to, but if it was your first time, you were on your own. There also were no modifications offered. I am not a dancer but am also not a stranger to choreography. But I found it really difficult to follow and didn't appreciate the fact that there was no instruction offered for newbies.
