The mastermind behind Exit Strategy Games, Janell Woodbury, has a greater fondness for six-sided dice than crime fiction. She has always loved board games, but once she discovered interactive room-escape games, a whole new world of immersive fun opened up for her. She set to work establishing her very own scenarios, and now Exit Strategy Games has three wildly different escape room experiences to choose from.

• Conspiracy Theory is set in the 1970’s and all players are CIA agents sent to investigate the local Conspiracy Theorist. Unfortunately, players are gassed, erasing their memory, and then are informed that among them there is at least one secret Soviet Spy. Participants must figure out who it is and who they can trust throughout the game, all while trying to escape the room in less than one hour.
• Torture Chamber is little more dastardly. Participants have been snatched by a ruthless serial killer, who has locked players away where no one from the outside world will ever find them. They must rely on their wits and one another to escape before the killer returns for his next victims. To do so, they must discover clues and solve puzzles that reveal the way out.
• Pet Snatched takes place in a once peaceful town that is now being terrorized by an underground pet-snatching ring. The latest victim: the participants' own beloved pet, Fluffy. Granny Sticky Fingers, the leader of this sinister group, has hidden Fluffy behind a series of locks and puzzles. Participants have just one hour to break in and rescue Fluffy before Granny Sticky Fingers returns home from her weekly Bridge club meeting.
