The year is 1934. Two criminals decide that robbing banks isn't enough anymore—they want to score big. Their mark: Charles Ross, a retired CEO with some pretty deep pockets. The two crooks snatch up Ross in Chicago and lock him in a room in Emily, Minnesota while they're planning the ransom. One day, Ross sees his chance to escape—but can he make it out of the room alive?
This is the scenario of "The Hideaway," one of Hidden Key Escapes' escape-room experiences. Up to six players step into Ross's shoes, working together to make observations and stay organized to escape the room within the one-hour time limit. The Hideaway requires such an attention to detail that less than 20% of teams succeed at the challenge.
