Q&A with Alea, Nail Technician

Do you offer your customers any extra perks?
We offer clients ice-cold water and give them magazines to read during their pedicures.

The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Paris themed, shabby chic, and country decor. Music is always playing while you can fully relax in our fluffy recliners during pedicures.

What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a client?
They absolutely loved their nail art and could not believe that I did it by hand. They loved the quality and artwork that I put into it. They thanked me, posted it on facebook and got me referrals by the way they bragged about their full set of acrylic nails.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
I am a full time student at the University of Oregon studying Family and Human Services. I have a passion for working with people and love to craft and design exactly what they see as a vision. I keep with all of the current trends and continue my education in learning new techniques and designs for nails.

I paid for a gel manicure. What I got, was a polish change; no hand soak, no massage, no cuticle push back, no hand treatments etc. Simply removed the old polish, a little filing and application of new polish. My nails are 24 hours done and look bad
