About Babel Bar & Lounge

Nakashima is a popular Japanese surname, but Babel Bar & Lounge visitors might assume it translates to "lots of flavor in a tiny space." That's because the bar's Nakashima roll encompasses 11 ingredients, including yellowtail, spinach, cream cheese, and jalapeño. The pepper reappears in Babel's Devil's Breath roll, a fiery medley of spicy tuna, sriracha, and jalapeño masago.

Though sushi dominates the Babel menu, cooks make a few alternatives for non-sushi eaters, including egg-drop soup and kale chips. It's not on street level, head down stairs...food was good. Definitely worth a try!

This is a great sushi lounge with a separate bar area and seating outside. It would be a nice place to meet and talk with friends in the downtown area. The sushi was very good too!
