When we first pulled up, I honestly thought it was an abandoned building. The outside definitely doesn’t give much away, but seeing cars in the lot and people heading inside convinced us to give it a try—and I’m glad we did.
Once inside, it had your typical bar/restaurant atmosphere. The vibe was casual and laid-back, and it felt much more welcoming than the exterior suggests.
The cooking class was really fun and enjoyable. Chef Jennifer was incredibly sweet, sociable, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The class was on the shorter side—about an hour—which worked well since the group was small (just our party and one other). She also did an amazing job guiding us step-by-step, making everything easy to follow and not overwhelming.
We made a California roll and a shrimp hand roll, and both turned out really good! She did a great job seasoning the ingredients, which really brought everything together.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely go back and try her more advanced sushi classes. I’d recommend starting with the beginner course—it gives you a great foundation and a little inside scoop on how to move up to the next level 🙂

The class would have been more fun if it wasn’t SO overcrowded. There were 30 people in the class and 10 people per cooking group. All I did was chop garlic and I had to watch the rest. Not hands on at all.

We had a great time learning how to make pasta! We have never been successful making it at home but now we actually make great pasta dinners!
