About Everett AquaSox

Originally known as the Giants, Everett's minor-league team first triumphed atop the baseball beanstalk in 1985, when the affiliate of the San Francisco Giants won a league title just a year into its existence. In 1995, the club shed its old identity, assuming the moniker the AquaSox and finding a new MLB affiliate in its in-state cohort, the Seattle Mariners.

Like in Abbott and Costello's iconic bobsled routines, the teams' partnership has proven timeless. The solidarity makes itself particularly apparent in the AquaSox logo, which is the same trident insignia used by the Mariners during the 1980s—only with the prongs forming the letter "E" instead of an "M." In 2010, the AquaSox consummated the new Mariners era by becoming Northwest League champions once again, tying a franchise record for wins in a single season with 49.

It was a lot of fun to go to a minor league game! Great experience for kids. The players all came out to sign autographs right after the game.

We were surrounded by really annoying people. After the first inning we were allowed to move to an emptier section. It was much better from that point on!!
