What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

MRC is the oldest private motorcycle rider training facility in northern Virginia. It was founded by five, then soon to retire, motor squad officers with tons of experience riding motorcycles and training other officers to master motorcycle riding.

MRC offers both group and individual training at all levels – from beginner to expert. Once you join us you are part of the MRC family and will enjoy discounts on every course you take with us. Since you are family, you have an open line of communication to us to satisfy your questions and needs. Each time you meet with one of our instructors, they will share contact information with you.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Our mantra is "Passionate and committed to riding excellence!" To that end, MRC offers a 1 to 3, instructor to student ratio for all of our classes with the exception of the Basic Rider Course (licensing) which has a 1 to 6 ratio. This gives us the opportunity to work directly with each student to help them achieve their best results. Of course, our individual training is one-to-one. In our individual sessions we can tailor the training to fit your needs.

What is the On-Road Training program?

In 2019, MRC introduced a new On-Road Training (ORT) program for individuals. These sessions are private and designed to meet your skill requirements for the street. These courses, as with all individual sessions, are made to fit your schedule. All ORT sessions begin and end at your locations – that is the location of your motorcycle. If you do not have a motorcycle yet, you can drive to our campus and use one of our Harley-Davidson Street 500s. The student and instructor communicate via helmet-to-helmet intercom to insure a safe experience and two-way communication.
