About Wales West Light Railway

Tucked away in Silverhill, Wales West is a convenient jumping-off point from which to explore the Gulf Coast. The sprawling RV park and campground boasts a multitude of homey amenities, including a heated indoor pool, WiFi, and a laundry room.

But Wales West isn't just a fun place to stay overnight. The resort doubles as a railroad theme park—in fact, its name is a nod to the narrow-gauge railways found in various parts of Great Britain. Model trains and actual trains are scattered around the property, and seasonal rides take passengers to pick pumpkins, meet Santa, and see the Easter Bunny.

Love this place... Love it even more with a Groupon! The train ride is fun for the kids and they love the crafts. The little train is lots of fun too! Tons to do here.
