Having four children, one stepchild, and nine grandkids has no doubt taught the owner and baker behind Cinnamom a thing or two about pleasing palates. But her real education in creating delightfully sweet pastries came from her own mother, who concocted and refined many of the recipes behind her bakery's cinnamon buns. Following the tried-and-true methods, ingredient lists, and all-important proportions of these family recipes, she crafts old-fashioned rolls that are somehow nothing short of inventive. Offering buns with more than 40 varieties of toppings to choose from—including lemon butter creme, maple bacon, and crushed cookies—she seems to delight in making these sweet treats as much as her customers enjoy indulging in them.
