Spoke with Salman and he said that this coupon is fraudulent with a previous employee who worked couple of years back. I called Freeautocare.com and spoke with Adel and he said to obtain a refund from Groupon.
Groupon needs to fix this. Guys beware of this deal.

Sahir sorry for any inconvenience that you incurred with this location. We contacted Salman, the owner's son and he informed us the previous manager was the one that set up the Groupon campaign and now as of today 12/28/2021 they do not want to continue the promotion. V Tech Automotive was on this program for years. It is not fraudulent. This is not the norm on how the program works. Once gain Sahir sorry this happened to you.

I purchased this Groupon. I was told to fill the form (redeem), I contacted with a nice person. Everything was perfect until I called for an appointment.
The guy (v-tech) answered the phone (for appointment) compared himself with a doctor saying that you wouldn't mind to wait maybe a few hours. I kindly asked him an available date and time also by adding that I didn't want to wait that much.
Today, I showed up at the appointment time. He told me to wait maybe an hour or more. I said that's not what I was expecting but okay. Then he requested extra per oil change (extra charge per oil change) due to the increase in the price of oil and other stuff that they use (so from November 3 to November 11 there should be a %50 increase). All in all, he requested more than $20 per oil change (conventional oil). I said that was not the deal that I purchased. Waited 3 hours for a resolution from the nice guy that I first communicated. He hasn't called yet.

Sorry for any miscommunication when we spoke to you on the phone. We didn't realize the price increase until you called our sales office that day. Periodically there will be price increases just do to the ever-increases prices from manufactures dealing with oil and automotive parts and state charges from waste removal. Hopefully this helps you understand why. Sorry for the wait also.

They don't include in the fine print that they will charge you extra if you use specific types of oil, especially for newer cars.
I went in there thinking I was going to get a regular oil change with my Groupon but ended up paying extra because the oil in my car is not regular oil. It is still an oil change though. I tried to get a refund, but I didn't get one. They also proceeded to tell me that my tires were worn out, so I got a second opinion somewhere else and they said my tires were fine.

Sorry you didn't see on the Groupon ad and the punch card we sent you that some vehicles require synthetic oil or special oil set by the manufacture. When your vehicle is required for an upgrade our locations just charge the difference from a conventional oil change. All automotive shops operate the same way. Gregg’s Mobil been serving the Mission Viejo area for 33 years and has an excellent reputation.

First off, when I redeemed this coupon I had to pay an additional $60 for my first oil change, which wasn't detailed in the deal. Then when I went for my second oil change, the company went out of business 7 mos prior and I can't even redeem the service anymore. They don't follow up with the companies in their network? Essentially useless. Every time I'd communicated with them they mansplain the foolishness. Not worth it.

The Auto Care Special program is valid for one year with twenty services listed on the punch card. Oil changes for Seal Beach Chevron are a $35 value, up to five quarts. Posted on Groupon are extra charges for tax, California hazardous waste fee and extra quarts needed if your car takes more then five and any upgrade for synthetic oil. $49 was the extra charges for your particular car. We reached out to you by phone also and explained this to you. Thank you for the understanding. Each customer is allowed three services per visit. Just let the manager know when making an appointment. We appreciate your patronage and giving us a chance to earn your trust.
