Fossil Creek Nursery, Fort Collins

The clerk that was working that day was of no help to me and ver fude. I had a $40.00 groupon and their selection of items was very poor. I thought that I had finally found 2 items that were almost $40 and then she said "no" it has to be up to $40 dollars... not including tax . They didn't have anything that was $3 so I had to buy something else which made it go over my $40 groupon and then I had to pay her $5 or $6 more. This was not a good experience for this time of year. Their gifts were outdated and too expensive.

In fairness to them, it was the end of their season so what was there to buy was mostly pots, and related materials. But, I thought that the seasonal things that were there were rather tired, perhaps brought out from the previous year's holiday selling season. The indoor shop was dusty and seemed neglected. Sad to say that I probably won't go back, even though I know they do well and many people love shopping there. I just don't feel motivated or inspired to return based on this visit.

All of Fossil Creek's merchandise seemed to be really expensive. Even with the Groupon, priced paid was more than other nurseries.

They are always great to work with and give great advice. i especially have enjoyed working with Jill....she is very helpful and knowledgeble.
