Using the term Oktoberfest is surely a stretch. Top 20 and techno really didn't set the tone all to well. Surely will NOT be returning!

It was expensive, the music was good, but not appropriate for the event. There was another Oktoberfest down the road without admission and better music. Me and my friends went there after about 2-3 hours and saw a lot of other people from the other Oktoberfest here again (they brought their boots or were wearing the VIP wristbands). It had no admission and music and food were authentic.

This was not an Oktoberfest. Beck's beer was sponsoring a tiny get drunk event in a small park. No roots/connection to Oktoberfest except that Beck's offers 1 oktoberfest beer. Events staff was not very curtious and there were more people who attended as "VIP" than regular admission tickets. Very horrible experience.

To advertise this as an Oktoberfest was a huge stretch. Not one thing about this event was Oktobertfest as advertised. It was a big party for 20 year olds with electronic rap/heavy metal music, no bands, no German or Austrian food or music. What a disappointment!

Worst Oktoberfest I've ever been to. No German food or music. It was just an extremely overpriced party with nothing remotely german.

From Our Editors

The best-selling German beer in the world, Beck's helps Fort Lauderdale celebrate Oktoberfest by rolling out their barrels of new and classic draft brews. Selections included Beck's Pilsner, Beck's Premier Light, Beck's Dark, Beck's Oktoberfest, and Beck's Sapphire. In addition, the VIP Tent features beers from the Goose Island Vintage collection. All of these keep Oktoberfest-goers quenched as they explore the fairgrounds, which showcase electronic music, local cuisine, and seasonal lederhosen.
