The Laser Lounge Spa, Fort Myers

Great place! Always professional and friendly staff!!

I tried the Infrared Sauna, never having done this before, or going to Laser Lounge previously. First off, the facility seemed clean and tastefully appointed, though it could stand a little updating/streamlining. IDK? I wasn't impressed as I have been in other cosmetic establishments. I just think that if I'm going to go out and get pampered and also probably dish out some serious cash for the services, the place ought to be pretty amazing. Thank Goodness for the Groupon, which saved me a ton! Now, the actual Sauna experience was good but could have been great. First, it is recommended that one showers BEFORE a sauna to open the pores, so I was happy to see a nice shower in the private sauna space. The attendant turned on the sauna to run an extra 5 minutes so I could shower, nice right? Umm? LOL I had a bit of an issue locating towels and then, the worst thing was that this shower only ever got lukewarm! So much for opening up my pores! After drying off from my frantic, rushed and sadly cold shower I entered the sauna and basically sat with a towel around myself for 30 minutes. I liked that it had a window door and also showed the time remaining and the temp. Nice music was playing. I was able after 20 min to work up a good sweat, found it weirdly calming and invigorating. The last 10 min I sweated profusely. Another lukewarm/cool shower followed. Had there been towels sitting out for me (not under the sink on a shelf), or handed to me, or pointed to...LOL! and the shower temp been hot, and perhaps someone checking in on me after a bit outside the door to see how I was doing, I would have given this more stars, as I would have felt more pampered, which is the whole idea after all, right?
