The waitress did not give correct info on menu items for the groupon

There was once a man who came every day to a restaurant. Every time he came the same server waited on him and treated the older gentleman with respect and camaraderie. One day the man came and he was waited on by a different server. When he asked for his regular server back he was told that new management had come in and that the server had been reassigned to a different area and that the older gentleman's request could not be granted....new management would dictate how the guest would be accommodated and rules were rules. The new server was not up to the same level of customer service and so the gentleman left the restaurant feeling as if he had been treated like a second class citizen. Several weeks went by and the gentleman came back and he said "I want my old server," and when the manager said no he told the manager that he was fired and that the server who had been so kind and very customer service focused would now be running the show; for you see the older gentleman was very wealthy and he had bought the restaurant and was determined to provide a customer focused atmosphere. My experience at Mama Clemenza's was that the food was good but the service was lacking in customer focus. Even if they were upset about the Groupon use, they should have sucked it up and never let the customer know that. I and my guest were treated like second class citizens, just because we used a Groupon offer. They greatly limited our selection options and in no way honored the spirit of the Groupon experience. It is an experience I can not forget or get over.

I liked the food at first but it was so rich I found it overpowering by the end of the meal. Too much of a good thing!

Only redeemed groupon for face value since one item was over $8. Food was good as always but feel ripped off by using the groupon. There were three of us and two items were under the $8 mark. Next time just pay ash and forget about groupon.
