Service was terrible and there were out of control drunk tourists being ridiculously obnoxious. The server did apologize for being shorthanded after having to send one of her coworkers home for being too drunk to work.

the bacon cheddar burger on cabatta bread was extremely excellent. The only thing better than the food was the service by a Ms Q, she was on top of her game at least for us. I would recommended Fudshucker's to everyome. My daughter is taking her husband there on Thursday for lunch for his Birthday.

for boaters trying to go there the docking situation is lousy. No tie ups, shallow water and all the slips are already taken. I have told management several times but they obviously have a lot of $ invested already and have a limited budget to expand the dock. I guess non-locals drive there or rent the boats that take up the slips. After Labor Day the locals will be what keeps them going. Don't mean to sound negative but that is an issue for the boating clientele. They will go to Destin, Helen Back, Mangos on the Bayou or somewhere they can get there by boat.

The bucket that we paid 30 bucks for had such a small amount of seafood it was way over priced..there was literally only two oysters. The spice blend was so overpowering. I ate the corn first and ruined the rest of the meal because my mouth was tingling. There was also mention of freezer boxes that the seafood was in. Sad because I feel like a seafood resturant on the gulf coast should have fresh food.

From Our Editors

One of three restaurants located at Fudpucker's on the Island, Fudshucker's specializes in raw, steamed, chargrilled, and baked oysters. The latter comes prepared in one of seven ways, including baked with butter, garlic, and parmesan cheese or melded with crabmeat stuffing, bacon, and cheddar cheese. The kitchen also plumbs the ocean's salty depths for snow crab, shrimp, and clams, which populate the world famous Fud Bucket, a big meal for one person or a regular-size meal for a puny shark.

Fudpucker’s original location in Destin started as a humble addition to the back of a nightclub in 1982, and later moved to a small shack overlooking the beach. Today, the island-inspired eatery features 7,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space and sprawling decks and balconies. Today, the other Destin restaurant has grown to an impressive 32,000 square feet and boasts eight dining rooms with more than 400 seats where guests can sit for a burger or shrimp dish. Kids never lack amusement, as both locations include some of their favorite things, from games and free toys with their meals to primers on astrophysics.
