About Clean Slate Cafe

Espressos, loose-leaf blackberry sage teas, cinnamon almond scones—these are just a few of the things on the menu at Clean Slate Cafe. But it's not what is made at the family-owned cafe that sets it apart, but how it's made. Every drink is hand-crafted to order and every baked good is made fresh in-house with clean, organic ingredients. The cafe also offers salads and snacks that carry on this dedication to quality, with a menu that's adjusted daily to ensure maximum freshness. Patrons can sit down and cozy up with a warm beverage and snack inside the cafe, or grab a bag of their coffee beans to brew up at home.

I love coffee and this quaint family owned café has a welcoming homey atmosphere serving a plethora of different coffees and teas (both hot and cold). Cara is an always pleasant bundle of energy. Her main goal is to satisfy her customers and she most certainly succeeds. Baristas Erin, Vanessa, and Mickey are as sweet as the homemade pastries served up here. The sweet cream latte is dazzling and I often have the bottomless cup of coffee which is always fresh and flavorful. It can be difficult to choose a pastry because they are all phenomenal, but my personal favorite is the banana nut bread followed closely by the apple crisp. I must say I have tried them all and and there is nothing they can pull out of their oven that is not pure magic. If you are looking for nice fresh healthy organic fare than you will not be disappointed with anything on the menu. Among my favorites are the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for breakfast...and the chicken salad truly is a work of art and your taste buds are the canvas. I could go on and on, but you must come in and see (and taste) what the buzz is all about here in Southwest Fort Worth!
