About Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame
About Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame
Created to preserve heritage, the museum honors people who have contributed to the state's Western history. The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Inductees have worked and owned some of the largest ranches in the country, built businesses from the ground up and competed at the highest levels of rodeo, cutting and pro sports such as baseball and football.
* The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is located in the Historic Exhibits Building, which is a former livestock barn and airplane hanger. There are several vendors nearby including the Front Porch Store, Western Legends authentic western wear, Gunfighters laser shooting gallery and John Wayne: An American Experience museum.
* Restored historical wagons sit near the entrance of the museum. A chuck wagon, oil wagon and milk wagon are some of the featured antiques.
* Schedule an experience at the Jersey Lilly Photo Parlor in the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame Gift Shop. Picture yourself in the PAST! Get in character in 1880’s costume, choose your setting and get WESTERN! It only takes 30-40 minutes to make a priceless memory!

Very small museum with displays of all Hall of Famers. A nice little diversion. It would help if you had knowledge of rodeo stars.

Not really much of a museum. Just a room.

So sad that the old hall of fame is closed. Now it’s in a tiny little shop. New plans are drawn up though so will be back in a few years to see that
