"Making art accesible to everyone!" That's Wheelhouse Studio & Gallery's self-proclaimed raison d'être; it certainly offers enough programming to support that goal. For kids, there are home-schoolers' classes, after-school art classes, and camps where they learn new methods for expressing their creativity. Adults enjoy a less structured curriculum during BYOB paint classes, where wine, snacks, and step-by-step pointers unleash brush strokes on canvas. The 50-seat facility also plays host to private parties for all ages and open-studio time, which allows would-be artists to take advantage of materials and painting outlines to get them started.
