About a month ago, I went in for the Ultherapy procedure. Everyone was very sweet and welcoming and the office was clean and inviting. The procedure itself was quite painful and I was not offered any type of numbing cream or local anesthetic. Unfortunately, this procedure has had no positive effect on my skin and I’m really disappointed because I had been so hopeful….not to mention it is quite expensive. The results are just not what I had hoped for. After doing a bit of research, I see that most other places that offer this procedure are providing numbing cream or anesthesia due to the pain involved. Never having had this done before, I had no idea. Now I see why it’s important to have the numbing cream, because the machine frequencies are turned up or down depending on the amount of tolerable pain level. Since I had no numbing, I am guessing my pain was quite high causing my treatment not to experience the full effect of the machine resulting in not achieving good results. I’m very sad to write this review because I was so hopeful that my results would be at least a tiny bit better. Instead, my skin looks exactly the same and I feel as though I’ve wasted over $700 which is very hard to come by these days. In short, I feel I may not have received the best results that the machine could have provided because my pain tolerance was not good and there was no numbing cream offered. Everyone was very nice and the office was clean. I wish I had a better review for the procedure. Thanks.
