Limoncello Trattoria & Bar, Freeport

Along Freeport's historic Nautical Mile lies a cozy new waterfront restaurant called Limoncello Trattoria & Bar. The large space was renovated to present a more rustic feel, including wood beam ceilings and a brick patio designed for the evening scene. The 200 seats include several tables on a deck that wraps around the restaurant with an intimate view of the Woodcleft Canal. Their chefs craft classic Italian dishes, passed down through generations. Unsurprisingly, among Limoncello's menu items includes the signature lobster Limoncello—a 10-ounce tail seasoned with paprika and limoncello sauce, served over tender linguini, lobster seafood risotto, and orecchiette with pork sausage and broccoli rabe.
