About La Escondida-Friendswood

Owner Sergio opened La Escondida in 1999 to showcase his vision for traditional Mexican cuisine and hospitality. It didn't take long for his hard work to pay off, as the Missouri City location has won the title of "Best Mexican Restaurant" for eight years running. Sample the menu below:

The service and food was great. This was our second visit, but unfortunately for us it was a night with the very loud bar noise and the loud musicians in competition with each other. The room we were in was too small for so much noise and any conversation was impossible.

I love the Chicken Tortilla Soup! The service was awesome! The staff are so pleasant and welcoming from when you walk in to being served to leaving. Thank you for a great experience!
