In 2010, what once was a traditional bowling alley, known as Gainesville Bowl, expanded into the family fun complex now known as Funtastik! Here, bowlers send balls spinning down 24 glossy lanes, complete with auto scorers, so bowlers need not have a doctorate of bowling to keep score. The entertainment multiplex also houses a 3,500-square-foot laser-tag arena, where players face off, ducking-and-covering throughout two floors of jungle-themed obstacles. When guests need a break from the action, they can tackle virtual worlds in the video game arcade or refuel at the cafe.
