Purchased a Groupon for 3 massages from Angels from Every Angle on 12/23. Couldn't get them to return my call. Finally heard back from them almost 2 weeks later. Tried to offer Monday appointments only, although they have Saturday hours with no Groupon restriction, which is why I chose them. Made an appointment for 1/18 and they cancelled the same day because their babysitter cancelled.Had to wait for appointment today, 2/15 because Saturdays became problematic due to "fami...ly problems" so took almost another month. They rent a room inside the Merrill Lynch building on 441 which smells like mold. All the lights were off and construction was going on in the lobby. OK, fine. Shown to tiny room to undress. Pull back sheet and there were deodarant stains on the dark blue sheets from the previous client. YUCK! Turned it inside out so I didn't complain. Window open, 60 degrees out. Laid there listening to airbrakes from public transit, people screaming, traffic passing and angry honkers. I requested deep tissue and the massage therapist (who was dressed like she just came from a grunge band practice) barely put any effort into massage. Long pauses to get new oil, change the CD player, etc. Worked on shoulders/neck almost 30 minutes. Finished with scalp massage, being sure to drag oil through my hair. Planning on never coming back, I tipped her just to get out of there. But before I could, she told me she had to cancel my nex appointment (MARCH 8TH!!). Unprofessional, unclean, inconvenient. Save your money.
