About Coal Fire - Kentlands

The chefs at Coal Fire aim to perfect one of the most popular foods in America, pizza. Their commitment to artisan-style pizza is touted by the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail taken during preparation and cooking. Homemade dough is aged and brought to the proper temperature before being hand-tossed to create the perfect bake. Three original sauces are prepared and tasted daily to ensure quality and consistency. The fresh mozzarella is handmade in-house daily where it is sliced, not shredded. Bringing all these top-quality ingredients together is a 900-degree coal fire oven that melds the flavors on a delicious thin crust which a Pizzaiolo ensures is charred to perfection.

Along with pizza, the salads, sandwiches, sauces, and dressings are also all homemade with the freshest ingredients. Whenever possible the produce and meats used are purchased from local merchants. Featuring a full bar, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff, Coal Fire has something for everyone to enjoy which is why customers keep coming back for more.

Service was really great. Was disappointed on what I got. I got the margarita pizza and it was super thin and very bland. It was basically a mouthful of basil and dough. Boyfriend got cheesesteak with fries and he loved it. I know they are known for pizza but how do you mess up a margarita pizza? I’ll go back but stay away from the pizzas.
