L5 Thai Restaurant & Lounge
The service was really good. Our waitress was really upbeat. The food was nothing as pictured or described. The waitress claimed that it was their best and most popular dish but it was less than satisfying when it came out. And when attempting to use our Groupon, we had to put up a fight with the manager. Will never return!
Thanks for such a great night--you let us in even when you were setting up for a birthday party! We appreciate you accommodating us and for the super service! We will come back again and tell our friends! :)
Will call Groupon Customer Service to give a detailed explanation as to why this was a terrible experience for all customers...would never go back and would never recommend. Have never been demanded to "redeem my Groupon" voucher on MY PHONE, in front of the merchant while they observe... what the heck is www.groupon.com/merchant for?! This place deserves a BIG 0!
Potions very lil for the price..not worth the money.
I will definitely not be returning here. some Spanish dance group there when we arrived that kept the music so obnoxiously loud that my bf and I couldn't even hear each other from across the table, which was shoved into the corner with the other tables to clear the middle of the room. If I wanted to be pushed intoa corner and have to yell to be heard from a foot away, I'd go to a real club. Only one thing we tried to order from the menu was actually available, and all this after we tried to come in a Sunday at 2, when their website said they would be open, to find them closed. Shouldn't have given this place a second chance. Even more disappointing because the food was actually very good.
Good hot food. Too quiet for lunch on a weekend.
I would not recommend going there at all
Great place for thai food. The fish tank was cool too. Ill be back.
Slow service and didnt seem to have a lot of servers. It took them about 15 minutes to gives us the menu. The couple that was there before us actually left and I'm assuming because noone bothered to serve them.
From Our Editors
When the family behind L5 Thai Restaurant & Lounge immigrated to the United States from Thailand, they brought along a deep love for their native cuisine. The menu aims to capture the region's complex and distinctive blend of flavors and spices. However, truly re-creating these flavors requires a more personal touch, and the chefs acknowledge this by making some noodles in-house and by giving nicknames to every single peanut. This commitment lends even more authenticity to the selection of familiar Thai staples, including fragrant curries, stir-fries with spicy chili sauces, and Thai-style barbecued spare ribs.
The dining room's white tablecloths appear crisp and minimalist, but the red walls, ceiling-mounted surfboard, and chrome-laden bar seating area imbue the ambiance with some casualness and whimsy. Leafy plants sit in the corner, adding a verdant splash to contrast the reds, golds, and ambers defining the majority of the space.
