The Classes

TriggerAction Firearms Training currently teaches eight handgun courses. These include concealed-carry classes and many NRA–approved programs, such as NRA Basic Pistol and the NRA Eddie Eagle Gunsafe Program for kids.

At a Glance

TriggerAction Firearms Training and Rich Wells are one and the same. The firearms training company is the epitome of a one-man show, and its origins go all the way back to Mr. Wells' childhood. While growing up on a farm, he and his family would shoot pistols, rifles, and shotguns into a large gravel pit. But fate and a Commodore 64 would pull Mr. Wells away from firearms. He studied computer engineering in college, and that was his world for three decades—until his church hosted a concealed-carry class. Fast forward to today, and Rich Wells is now an NRA-certified instructor training others in the use of firearms.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and great with first time shooters. Also a little funny. I would highly recommend his class as you will definitely come out with more confidence with a firearm than before the class, no matter your experiance.

This is the class you want to take. You get a complete overview of the requirements and laws as well as lots of great information on gun safety and other fundamentals you won’t find in any other course. The instructor is fantastic and really cares about his students and making sure that they have a full understanding of the concepts and laws. Safety is number one. You will enjoy it and learn a lot

Very clear instructions, reasonable breaks to walk about and refresh. Very knowledgeable instructor. Will complete the course soon as the weather and thunderstorms didn’t cooperate for the full event, however this was nothing the instructor had any control over. Highly recommend

It all tells me you were thoroughly engaged with the material and were taking this training seriously. An instructor always likes to see that positive interaction and it proves you have a very good head on your shoulders.
