Before Michael and Jodie Imbriano opened The Crispy Pig, they ran Buon Appetito, a specialty Italian market brimming with homemade pastas, deli meats, and spices from the Old World. • The food's meant to be shared. Thanks to executive chef Peter Kontomanolis, the menu pops with small, shareable plates such as mac and cheese, poutine with braised pork belly, and fried chicken and waffles plus larger dishes including pork tenderloin potpie and shrimp and grits.
• The dining room feels like home. Built to seat around 50 people, the intimate space includes exposed brick walls, reclaimed wood accents, and warm lighting courtesy of shade-less Edison lightbulbs.
• The drink list is seemingly never-ending. Those who like to pair their meals with an adult beverage will be thrilled with the drink menu, which includes more than 30 beers, painstakingly crafted cocktails, small-batch whiskeys, and wines from all around the globe.
