At UFC Gym instructors with amateur or professional fighting experience lead classes that not only build strength and endurance, but can also mimic actual boxing bouts. Students don 16-ounce gloves and approach 150-pound punching bags for the signature workout, burning approximately 800–1,000 calories per hour. Trainers keep class sizes small for optimal results, and offer private training for individualized attention. Members can also take advantage of the gym's free weights and cardio and strength machines or play human slingshot on the ropes of the boxing ring.
