Kind of a dive bar but with a good menu and a pretty good taplist. The service is casual, and maybe a little sassy, but friendly and fun if you're laid back. Our server was also the bartender, so she wasn't hovering around the tables, but that's not what I wanted anyway. I wanted good beer, a good burger, and some hot fried stuff. Tip Top always delivers that, so if that's what you want, this is a good place for you off the beaten path.

I would suggest checking the events calendar when using the groupon. If you are going just for dinner, go before 6 or so, or chose a concert you want to attend-there is a wide range of music. Plan on a cover charge in that case. We went on a night there was no music, had awesome food and service and enjoyed the retro vibe. Frank, the owner has done some GREAT things for this area and this tavern. We really enjoyed the blend of patrons at the bar as well as the decor.
