The people who work there are very nice. Sometimes it is scary joining a new place. They are very personable and sensitive to individual levels of fitness. Supportive. The other participants were super friendly. No snobs!

I love Bikram Yoga and it really has changed my life. This class is not only a way to shed those few extra pounds but a lifestyle change all together. I found my eating habits changing to a more healthy pallet and my sleeping habits improved where I am now able to sleep sound and long since beginning Bikram Yoga. My flexibility has immensely improved making my posture 10X better and my core stronger. Before Bikram, I had issues with joint pain in my knees from years of running, which has prevented me from participating in a lot of activities, such as running, but now my knees are pain free and feel much stronger than they have ever felt. Every time I leave, I am filled with energy.

After turning to Bikram yoga to ease her chronic hip, shoulder, and hand pains, seasoned yogi Patty Gray realized a dream in bringing this healing practice to her own community. At Bikram Yoga Granite Bay, she leads a diverse team of certified instructors?which includes a dietitian, a marathon runner, and a former DJ?that helps students of all ages and abilities reach their fitness goals with 26 dynamic postures. These postures, or asanas, include both seated and standing positions and are performed in the detoxifying humidity of a 105-degree room. During each 90-minute sweat session, instructors help students to let go of their competitive nature while improving their strength, balance, and ability to fold themselves neatly into a suitcase.
