Though aesthetician Marie Carmen is a recent graduate—she received her aesthetician certification in May 2011—her passion for pampering clients and making them feel exceptional would make one think she is a seasoned beauty vet. Since opening Lost in Tranquility Skin Care, which is located inside Phenix Salon Suites, she has been able to showcase her aesthetic skills, which include body waxing for 16 different areas, chemical peels that use an enzyme or glycolic formulation, and facials that brighten skin with a nourishing mask and a massage. Marie is also well-versed in galvanic and high-frequency treatments, which are designed to clear pores of unwelcome bacteria and residue from falling asleep face-down in a comfy pile of turkey stuffing.
