About Hikari Ryuza Center

Hikari Ryuza Center has been in operation for 43 years.

It's a family-driven, membership-based health, wellness and martial arts organization in Penn Valley, CA. Established by Dr. Crimi in 1977, and now co-owned with Sr Professor Shizumi Crimi, the Center offers classes in self-defense, dance, pilates, meditation, nutrition, and offers health/life coaching, Seifukujutsu healing therapy and events and activities for the holistic-minded family.

The self-defense curriculum for Adults and Children is Hikari Ryuza Bujutsu®, which is the system that Senior Grandmaster Crimi developed over his sixty years in the Martial Arts. His system includes Danzan Ryu Jujutsu, Kenpo Karate, and Senkotiros Arnis.

Classes are taught in a safe and family friendly environment by Internationally registered instructors. Instructors are also trained and certified in first aid, CPR, restoration techniques, and Seifukujutsu bodywork healing.
