Centennial Village Museum, Greeley

Greeley Museums bring history alive—sometimes quite literally. The best example is Centennial Village, an 8-acre living heritage museum. Immaculately restored land, historic homes and businesses, and time-swept citizens can be enjoyed at this museum. But though the seasonal city is the antique jewel in this historical tiara, it's hardly the only chance to learn about the past. The Greeley History Museum preserves the heritage of the area through exhibitions and programs, along with permanent and temporary collections spanning the three floors of galleries. The Meeker Home Museum offers a look inside the lives of the Meeker family, who founded Greeley with a vision of a utopian future, while the White-Plumb Farm Learning Center offers visitors agricultural hands-on learning experiences.
