About The Riviera Supper Club

There's a lot of diversity on the menu at The Riviera, but one thing you won't find is deep-fried food. Instead, the cooks grill, sauté, bake, and braise a menu with culinary influences from around the world.

The eatery's appetizers give one a good idea of this diversity, with a selection that includes hummus, beef carpaccio, and crepes with red salmon caviar. Escargot is served in a puff pastry with bleu cheese bechamel, and dishes such as Asian vegetables and tofu—stir-fried in ginger and sesame-infused vegetable oil—cater to vegetarians, vegans, and cannibalistic vegetables. The Riviera also features an extensive wine list, and has live entertainment every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.

First visit here a few weeks earlier a disaster.Waited over an hour for appetizers to arrive after ordering appetizers and entrees.. Long after that was informed by waiter that they were out of 3 of the 4 meals we ordered, leaving few choices, none we wanted. They hadn't even started cooking an hour and a half after we ordered! We said we were leaving. Owner came over, comped the meal we had so far and said they had an unexpectedly large party come in before us and ran out of food and returned our Groupon to return another time. We did, everything worked normally this time. Most appetizers and entrees were fine. Check ahead of time if they are having any large groups! arriving!

Waiter was fabulous, food was great, except bread, which could be better. We had starters of scallops with bacon, shrimp on skewers, mushroom soup, and salad with chevre, pears, and candied pecans.There was a small radish, carrot salad with the appetizers, which was also amazing with a vinegar dressing and a bit of spiciness. Main courses were Steak Diane, Chicken Marsala. The vegetables with the main courses were wonderful, cooked al dente. House wine (we ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon) was also good. There was a piano player with a large repertoire, who interacted with the diners just the right amount. Would highly recommend going there.
