Zombie Bolt, Guthrie

During the Zombie Bolt 5K race, Mitch Park in Edmond, Oklahoma becomes a postapocalyptic wasteland, as waves of flesh-feasting zombies overrun the trails of Mitch Park. Together, they limp, lurch and bolt after mortal runners determined to finish the race with their lives—in the form of flags—intact. Participants can register to play either role: they can show up sans costume and outrun the rotting horde or don the ghastly garb of the undead and give chase to racers. Either way, once the race is over, zombies and humans can work out their differences after the run.
