We visited this museum from a cruise ship. It was an easy 10 to 15 minute walk along the harbor's paved walkway. Several shops along the way. Museum is well worth the visit and do take in the optional film re exploring the Titanic.

kids loved it, enjoyed all the things they say and learned. We then went to Fairview cemetery to see Titanic graves. Very educational.

Best RMS Titanic exhibits we have ever seen (and we visited the Titanic Museum in Belfast this past September 2014) .. it was very good but the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic has actual Titanic artifacts and such....
