The service was fantastic and the food delicious. Very simple, clean flavors. We will definitely return here to try their breakfasts and desserts.

The service at Olde Salem Cafe was quick
and the food was delicious. My husband had the Gypsy Schnitzel, which he really enjoyed, and I had the meatloaf. The entrees are served with a salad and homemade rolls. There was so much food that we both came home with enough for another meal!
Wonderful evening with delicious food!

Olde Salem Cafe takes Chicago area diners on day trips to Bavaria. Their menu of classic German comfort foods and desserts features housemade breads and a variety of schnitzels from Jaeger to gypsy. The diner also follows their own culinary genius to whip up fusion dishes including schnitzel cordon bleu topped with ham and swiss. Dessert favorites include black forest cake, bienenstich, apple strudel, and brownies.
