Pride Of The Susquehanna Riverboat, Harrisburg

Though it looks old-timey, The Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat is actually a late 20th-century creation, built and launched in 1988. Yet it still harks back to simpler times such as the 1800s or last Thursday, with mahogany woodwork lining the interior, punctuated by stained-glass ceilings and a front bar covered in copper and brass tacks. After enjoying the 45-minute tour from this Groupon, many visitors return to experience a Murder Mystery dinner or one of the riverboat's live music events. Proceeds benefit the Pride of the Susquehanna's educational and charitable functions, including the Susquehanna River School- teaching students of all ages about the history and natural wonders of this mighty river, and educating on how we can preserve it for future generations.
