Foster Tire, Hawthorne

My first visit was pleasant and all the employees were pleasant and very helpful. My visit this time around with my Groupon will make me to never visit there again. The employees (not the same the first time around) were rude and treated me as a non customer because I had a Groupon. I was very disappointed because I was expecting the same level of service. The guy that took my money didn't have a lot to comment on regarding my vehicle he was only interested in getting me out the door. There were no recommendations for me regarding my car and I asked questions regarding a possible tire problem and the service guy responded "If there was a problem with the car it would have been mentioned.

Although the staff was friendly, the vehicle servicing was not acceptable. When I took my vehicle home after the oil change I noticed the oil gauge seemed low. Upon checking the oil level it appeared to be below the "Low" level. I'm not mechanically inclined, so I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I went to get my tires rotated (Different Retailer) that same day and asked them to check the oil level. Not only was the oil level low, it didn't even register on the dipstick. I did not return to Foster Tire because I find it difficult to trust my vehicle to a company that doesn't take the time to perform a simple oil change. Date of Service 01/24/2014
