Nueva Nail's Noveon NaiLaser targets and destroys toenail fungus. To damage the metabolism of, and eventually kill, fungal cells, the Noveon NaiLaser emits patented wavelengths of 870nm and 930nm whose temperatures only hurt fungus, never nearby healthy tissue. Thanks to the device's laser pods, up to four infected nails can be treated simultaneously, which means procedures usually take a mere 16 minutes. Two laser treatments over a 24-day period can completely kill the fungus underneath the nail, giving patients the chance to don sandals and drive a car without wrapping the gas pedal in saran wrap.
