Fountains Executive Golf Course, Escondido

For avid golfers, Welk Resort offers two of San Diego golf courses, the Oaks Course and the Fountains Course. These two 18-hole golf courses were designed by David Rainville and originally built in 1964 and hailed as “Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest. The Oaks Par 3 Course is ideal for golfers wanting to improve their short game and is lined with vast oak trees, scenic fairways, and bright greens. Measuring around 4000 yards from the tournament tee markers, the Fountains Course is built on 600 acres of specifically manicured grounds. These course layouts are friendly to players of all levels but also challenging to those with a low handicap.
