While You're Waiting: Window shop. The café is located in a small storefront on the sidewalk with many boutiques nearby.
When to Go: Plan to dine between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited, and this 90-minute window is the only time the restaurant accepts reservations.
While You're in the Neighborhood
Before: Make an appointment to tour the Francis Stupey Log Cabin (1707–1731 St. Johns Avenue), Highland Park’s oldest standing structure.
After: Pick out some antique furniture or original artwork at Shine (2055b Green Bay Road).
If You Can’t Make It, Try This: Head to Nieto's (429 Temple Avenue), Cafe Central’s sister restaurant, for some casual American and Mexican food.
