Wild Ginger, Hinsdale

At Wild Ginger, the chefs draw their recipes and inspirations from across Asia. The noodles section of the menu presents an equal number of Thai and Japanese dishes, while the chef's specials favor recipes from China. The restaurant's bread and butter, though, is raw fish and rice—the bulk of their menu is devoted to a large selection of sushi rolls, including 15 special rolls. The highlight of these special rolls, the Wild Ginger roll, features the pairing of soft-shell crab and cream cheese, layered on top by spicy tuna, jalapeño, and a drizzle of savory eel sauce.
