It's a very nice French style restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. The food matches the elegant setting.

We love Toulouse. We rediscovered it this summer and we were delighted with the food and ambience live music on Saturday added to the experience.

My husband and I had wonderful dinners on the patio one late Sumer evening. It reminded us of dining in France or Italy. I'm afraid we were the only patrons either inside or outside so are worried they need more business! Hope they make it.

They do take reservations - probably a good idea

We had a very unfortunate experience at our last visit. Our waiter, who claimed to be the manager, refused to allow us to use our Groupon to pay for our two glasses of wine. We ended up forfeiting much of our Groupon value. He was very rude.

Our server ( the manager) refused to honor the groupon for the wine portion of the meal even though the groupon had no such restriction . Also we and another couple had Just used another groupon at the restaurant without any such problem.

Great food, great service. Wonderful time.

Understanding that it is French cuisine, the meal was not exceptional. Presentation was fabulous, but the food was average.

Over seasoned, over cooked, and over priced. Ambiance and service were great, they just need a better chef on staff. I don't mind paying $80 for a nice meal, but the quality of the dishes was not worth $80.

From Our Editors

Beneath the baked bread and vegetable du jour of Restaurant Toulouse's signature cassoulet, pork sausage and duck confit stew with great northern beans, bacon, carrots, onions, and tomatoes into one simmering pot of flavor. The cuisine includes onion soup and a medley of pan-seared scallops and mushrooms smothered in gruyère cream sauce. Bartenders also mix up an extensive assortment of cocktails, including Kahlua- and tequila-spiked coffee or the French Connection, a slowly stirred blend of cognac and amaretto over ice. Wait staff serve these feasts in a refurbished turn-of-the-century building replete with art deco–style posters and a wood- and screenplay-burning hearth, as well as a heated, enclosed patio.
