He came up with a new cleaning i need cost $1400. I do a clean up every 4 to 5 months.

He is only after money. They get you in and tell you that you have to do thousands of dollars of dental work before they will give you the cleaning you already paid for. I bought three of these deals, one for myself and two for other people as gifts and the exact same thing happened to each of us. It is absolutely disgraceful.

They were all very nice, and handled my anxiety about going to the dentist nicely. However, for a checkup and cleaning, I was there for three hours. Three. Hours. That's a very long time. Also, apparently a true cleaning isn't actually included in this groupon. They said a "polish" was the same as a cleaning (it's not) and charged me an extra $150 for an actual true cleaning.
