Purchased Groupon for 3 IPL Photofacials to Vitalogy Wellness on July 10 . Called on July 12 and made consultation appointment that was scheduled on July 20. Consultation went fine and was told I would be called to have my IPL appointments scheduled. July 23, I was called, first thing lady request is Groupon redemption code, after giving her the code, she handed the call to another person to schedule the appointment. She said the next available date would be in November. That would be almost 4 months away. Asked for refund

Buyer beware- I purchased 6 vanquish treatments, and it is a bait and switch, upselling you for additional treatments. They couldn't see me for over 3 months when I "consulted" with the office manager (not a doctor) in April. I tried to cancel a couple of weeks later, got my money back from Groupon no problem, but Vitalogy kept a "booking fee" of $50 for all 6 appointments!!!! Read the fine people, i would steer clear of this place.

Hi Tara. We are sorry you feel that way. The deal is definitely an amazing value and absolutely not a "bait and switch". Some customers do need more than they originally purchase with the voucher. And for those customers we have discounted rates for upgrades and/or additional treatments. We do make recommendations based on what is needed to achieve the desired result. Every customer has the OPTION to proceed with or decline the recommendations. The recommendations are NOT requirements. Only a professional suggestion. Our appointment holding fees are not in fine print at all. It is detailed out on a sheet that is printed in a size 16 font, and it requires an initial and signature---- making sure that the customer is fully aware. The appointment holding fee only applies if a customer schedules appointments and then cancels the transaction and appointments. Customers are FULLY aware of the dates available when appointments are booked and have the right to cancel without any fees if done so prior to securing treatment appointments. Our providers rely on the appointments on their books. If someone schedules (meaning they agree to the available dates) then cancels, there is no guarantee that we can fill that appointment and that is why we charge a small fee for cancellations. We hope you are able to find a provider to meet your needs.
